18.01.2022 This Rosh Hashana is very different to previous years. While we are lucky enough to daven together, sing together, eat together and hear the shofar together, much of Am Yisrael around the world do not have this opportunity. During Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur we ask Hashem for personal forgiveness, but most importantly these days are spent as a community. The vidui (confession) is said in plural, the 13 attributes of mercy can only be said in a minyan and the seuda before Yom ...Kippur should be a large feast enjoyed with others. In our privileged position in Perth, not only should we be immensely grateful to Hakadosh Baruch Hu for the opportunity to celebrate these chaggim as a community, but we should have our brothers and sisters around the world in mind throughout the whole month. When we hear the shofar, break the fast and sit in our sukkah, it is incumbent upon us to include all of Am Yisrael in our beautiful community. See more

15.01.2022 Yesterday at Bnei we assembled and delivered special Rosh Hashanah packages for the residents of the Maurice Zeffert Home. The packages contained honey jars, apples, biscuits, tea and of course a personalised note! We spent the afternoon delivering the packages and putting a smile on everyone's faces. Our chanichim greatly enjoyed being a part of such a special initiative and being able to give back to the community and be involved in chesed. Shana Tova
