21.01.2022 Talk about a blast from the past! I was in a second hand/vintage shop the other day and recognised this. It’s an old fashioned doily press that I painted in 2001. It was one of my lesson piece’s I taught for beginners introducing them to how to use a flat brush. I gave it away many years ago and I’m so pleased that it has been donated on. Now it will find another home.

20.01.2022 So my friend had these gorgeous Japanese mother of pearl inlaid panels. They were damaged in her recent house move and I was trusted to restore them. The frames are painted freehand with scrollwork and tear drop style brush strokes. I’ve tried to keep the style rustic in keeping with the original artist. I’m pretty chuffed with the result.

09.01.2022 Soooo I haven’t put anything on this page for a while however I’ve been busy on another project... It’s been a pretty good year so far with the release of my first of a series children’s chapter book - The Lonely Pony and I’m pretty chuffed with the end result. 04.01.2022 It may look like I haven't been doing much painting lately...not so! Earlier this year I teamed up with my friend Clancy Mercer to paint 27 canvasses for the Riverlands Montessori School as part of their annual fundraising. Opening night was Saturday 27th and I'm pleased to say that quite a few of our paintings sold. It was a privilege to rub shoulders with the other talented artists. Thank you to all those that supported the event over the weekend. It was a pleasure to be part of such a well run exhibition. Here are my contributions...
