Barebones Australia Cast Iron is hand finished with no resins, toxins or fillers. It's also lighter and stronger than traditional cast iron due to our manufacturing process in which we strengthen the cast iron with steel. This gives you a more even spread of heat throughout the cooking process as well. Oh, and with our Dutch Oven pictured, I should mention our lid design, which allows you to turn the lid to ventilate airflow through the oven.
