The family my lovely friend has chosen to raise funds for is ours... The Hamilton's For those of you who don't know, earlier this year my mother was diagnosed with CMML 2 (A form of Leukaemia) We aren't big on sharing, let alone public sharing - but I guess there comes a time and place for everything. An offer to give - creates an opportunity to receive Sometimes one of the hardest things for us humans to learn .... 10.01.2022 Many of you feel the struggle I know you do ......... I see You ... ......... I feel You ........ I hear YoUr stories, desires... Your truth bubbling up from within you ........... I sense the saddness within us all - our confusion as to our roles, the expectations placed upon us, societies judgements.... I have a deep knowing within me We are ready to hear our myths and legends once more, We are craving our circles by the campfire, Telling stories full of ancient wisdom. Our blood is pulsing hard through our bodies with more intention, To call us home - The masculine & The feminine Within ourselves, our community, our relationships.... The imbalance of the world's energies, Our masculine in overdrive, (keep in mind I'm not talking about genders here, male vs female.... I'm talking the energies with us, and the life force that surrounds us) Goal and success orientated, driving our overactive mental state - it makes me wonder if this is all linked to higher rates of anxiety and depression. Too much in our minds, over analysis, So much judgement, So much focus on material possessions to define our status... Our ideas of success being led astray .... Our disconnection to the feminine - The suppression of emotions, feelings and all things mystical, ..... and thus - the suppression of our inner wisdom, our deeper knowings - our intuition. Ladies, reclaim your light, your knowledge, your womb and her ability to birth all of your deepest desires.... Guys - I'm talking to you also, YOU HAVE AN INNER KNOWING TOO, you have the ability to feel into your emotions and make sense of your deepest desires, to stand with courage, humility and POWERrrrrrrr Together - we will rise to our highest potential... Only when you have the courage to stand for your truth, may you stand for the truths of those you love. Only when you have the humility to stand for your failures, may you stand alongside those you love in failure - to rise higher together than ever before. OUR REAL POWER IS IN BALANCE... So how do we get there? I hear you ask.... What are we missing that we can reclaim to embrace our life and and live to deepest desires and greatest callings? In my personal experience, we are missing our ancient teachings, our stories and fairy tales, our myths and legends, our initiations into adulthood, our ceremonies & our Rituals Our connections to each other - to tribe and community - and to our earth, stars and life force.... These ancient stories, fairytale and myths may need some adjusting for our modern life, we may have to trust in our knowings to make new legends.... But we need the rituals all the same Our young girls need their Red Tents. Our young boys need their initiation into manhood. Older men teaching them, talking to them like they matter, like they have a voice. Our youth need OUR trust in their ability, they need direction and responsibility. They need leaders who are self resposible and therefore feel their responsibility towards tribe and community. Again, I hear you ask - How so we get here? How do we reclaim our knowledge, the balance of masculine and feminine energies, when we have lost our myths and legends? I encourage you to find your local medicine man or medicine woman - they will be there... Most likely hiding in the shadows for those not afraid to face the darkness. After all we are still learning the ways of the modern world, the power of the screen and the inter web connections. We are finding our balance between connection and disconnection, our light within the dark, perhaps we are gaining courage to shine bright, to lead, to stand for our truths. Perhaps we are relearning the stories and myths, the rituals of self love, in preparation - for when you come searching for us.... Aimee
