23.01.2022 A warm and sunny start to school holidays. Today we had 50 athletes and a total of 56 PB’s. Great work everyone! Thanks to all our volunteers (adults and athletes) for your help with set up and pack up, at events around the grounds, sorting pie orders, busy in the canteen and entering results! Just a reminder that there is no athletics next Sunday due to Spring Carnival in Bundaberg on Saturday. If you are joining us at Spring Carnival your nominations need to be done via Results HQ by 9am Mon 21st September. Be prepared for a hot day but it also can get very cool and windy at the track once the sun goes down. I will email out confirmation of events once nominations have closed and I receive the club nomination report from LAQ.

Special mention to Amelie U9, Xander U12, Harry U14 & Caden U16 who got PB’s in all of their Regionals events!! 7 Bargara Club Away records: Congratulations to Mackenzie U11 80mH, Ariana U16 90mH & 300mH, Ethan U11 80mH, Xavier U13 High Jump and Zayden U17 800m & 1500m ... And to top it off: every athlete medaled!! 16.01.2022 Please check your uniform is all correct and that you have the right spike size and type for the upcoming Spring Carnival. Registration and age patch sewn or pinned on in correct position. Spike type and length is different for grass and synthetic track. No needle spikes allowed; must be pyramid or Christmas tree spikes no longer than 7mm.

01.01.2022 A big congratulations to Matt in U16 who competed at the LAQ Summer Carnival before it got cancelled due to storms and hail. He came 1st in AWD 200m, Long Jump and Shotput before events were halted and then cancelled. Awesome work Matty!
