25.01.2022 We are on the move again. Most of our China travel team left this morning with Jeser leaving on Sunday with parts from the DDU bot. It's always fun to do 2 competitions in the same week!! Looking forward to catching up with some of you on China! Good luck everyone.

24.01.2022 FTC// Congrats to the Barker Greybacks, FTC Australian Nationals Champions with a current world record score of 292 points, and Collins Aerospace Innovate Award, 2nd place in the Control Award and 3rd place in the Design Award. Congrats also to Barker Purplebacks Runners Up as finalists in the FTC Australian Nationals competition and winners of the Design Award. 24.01.2022 We are also competing at the FTC SKYSTONE Qualifying Event at Bossley Park High School this weekend. At end of day1 we have teams ranked 1st (11145 Greenbacks), 4th (11143 Orangebacks), 5th (11144 Bluebacks) and 9th (11146 Pinkbacks ). Well done to all teams on a hard fought day. 21.01.2022 Today Barker Robotics is running the Vex EDR and Vex IQ Sydney tournaments. We have 34 EDR teams battling it out for the 7 spots that will advance to EDR Nationals in Adelaide.
20.01.2022 Last year was great fun and rewarding despite the lock downs. We missed competing and catching up with our friends on other teams. Goodbye 2020. We are looking forward to the kick-off for the new season this weekend and we are hopeful that we will get to see you all face-to-face soon.

Congratulations to Alliance 1: Greybacks (Captain), Purplebacks and Greenbacks for being on the winning alliance today, and to the Greybacks for winning the Collins Aerospace Innovate Award and to the Purplebacks for winning the Control Award. All 3 teams have advanced to Nationals. Congrats also to Alliance 2 Bluebacks (Captain), Yellowbacks and Cardbob for being the runners up today. The Bluebacks also advance through to Nationals.

12.01.2022 Our team fought hard to take Huntsman through to the finals of DDU with our awesome alliance partners FRC Team 6510 - Pymble Pride and FRC Team 6035, House of Ulladulla. The finals series was close and hard fought going down in a tie breaker by just 3 points. As Alliance 1 Captains we enjoyed playing alongside the Barker Purplebacks and Barker Greenbacks to win the recent NSW FTC Qualifying Tournament. We were also honoured to receive the Rockwell Collins Innovate Award. We are enjoying competing virtually in the FTC Australian Nationals this week.

01.01.2022 Despite the distractions of watching DDU in their breaks, our China travel team has remained busy themselves. We spent the last few days helping & teaching new rookie teams how to complete their robots for the China off-season competition - RCC. From an incomplete chassis to a cargo robot in a couple of days way to go crew! Tomorrow is practice day for the start of RCC. #OMGRobots #Redbacks4613 #TeamIFI
