24.01.2022 Our BMEET online shop on Facebook is getting closer! Here’s a sneak peek of just a few of the beautiful items we’ll have on sale in coming weeks. Our Barkindji Wiimptya Murra Centre at Dareton NSW is run by local Aboriginal people, for local Aboriginal people and we can’t wait to show you the talent we have in our midst, introduce you to our local artists and offer you the chance to buy some unique and beautiful work! We’d love if you’d like and share our post, so more people can enjoy! And if you live locally in the Sunraysia region, these items are also on sale in our gallery. Drop in during our opening hours to see for yourself!

11.01.2022 Exciting news! BMEET’s had a win for our awesome Ranger Team we’ve been successful in our application for a grant to buy welding and safety equipment and some tools for our environmental management work. We’ll use the welders to make feral animal traps and signs to install at Fletchers Lake Reserve to keep cars and motor bikes off sensitive sites. We’ll also be able to get better tools for fencing and making fire breaks. We received $4735 from the 2020 Community Partnerships Grantthanks to energy provider TransGrid and thanks also to our super BMEET Indigenous Pathways Team Leader Ange Kirby for her efforts in applying for the grant that brought about this success.
