24.01.2022 Today marks the last day of Dementia Awareness month. Physical activity is increasingly supported by evidence to be a crucial component of any dementia prevention and management plan. We currently run several groups and individual programs to support all people at all stages of the lifespan. Read the full article for more specifics, but as always, the message continues to be.... ....."Move Well, Stay Well".

23.01.2022 Our staff have always had an interest in understanding pain. This metaphor may be useful for those whose pain persists, or easily recurs. What do you think?

23.01.2022 We have some general advice for those who have found themselves in a world of pain! Here is some of the advice we often give to people with an acute episode of back pain. If this doesn't seem to be helping, please call, email or message us and we will make a time to chat further with you. https://www.barossa.physio///12/21/First-Aid-for-Back-Pain

22.01.2022 News just in.....we have been advised by @physioaustralia that all staff, clients and any others entering our building are required to wear a disposable mask, starting tomorrow, Tuesday 1st Dec. If you are unable to source a disposable mask, we are advised that you should please attend with the best alternative mask you are able to find for now. Contact tracing information for anyone entering the building will be via a QR code. Please be patient as this system is only just being rolled out. If all else fails we will keep a paper copy of your attendance. If you have any concerns, please feel free to call us. Thanks for your understanding.

22.01.2022 Welcome! Excited to have you on board.

We will wear masks when we are closer than 1.5m and we encourage our clients to also wear a mask if they are comfortable to do so. All the other usual practices around social distancing, cleaning, hand washing and sanitising will continue. If you had an appointment you should have already been contacted. If not then please get in touch so we can sort something out. Our doors wi...ll be open from 8:30am Monday 23rd. So happy to be back caring for our community. Please continue to stay safe. 16.01.2022 Whilst our German heritage is quite obvious here in the barossa, this week prompts us to look further back, to our First Nation history. Perhaps, like us, you might be prompted to explore our indigenous heritage this week.

15.01.2022 It's R U OK?Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say af...ter R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK? Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life. When we know what to say next we can help someone open up and find pathways to support long before they're in crisis. Learn what to say next and help us move closer to our vision of a world where we're all connected and are protected from suicide. Head to www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask
