25.01.2022 CALLING on our wonderful Community! You may be aware that one of our families lost their home yesterday afternoon, along with everything they own, in a house fire. Barrack Heights Public School has an incredible Community and we are seeking your help to support one of our own. It is difficult in COVID times to ask for assistance, but we have measures in place to support the donation of goods to help out this family. We are asking if you have any clothes to fit a Kindergart...en boy, a Year 3 boy and a Year 5 girl, please donate them to the school so we can pass them on to the family. We have a washing machine here at school and are happy to wash all clothes to ensure we are following all COVID safe guidelines that are in place at the moment. We are also looking to support the family in relation to food. If you have food items you can donate to the family, it would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, due to COVID guidelines we can not accept perishable goods like fruit and vegetables, however the school will assist the family in this area. We appreciate any help that can be given to the family and thank you for your anticipated support. See more
