13.01.2022 Our popular Well Woman and ManOverhaul checks have been suspended to ensure patients spend the minimum amount of time at the surgery. However please do not put off your health checks - see our appointment schedule for a 15min pap smear check with a Doctor of your choice and/or an screening appointment for chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease or asthma. All Doctors also offer skin checks.

10.01.2022 Telehealth Video Portal BRMC has joined the Healthdirect conferencing portal. Easy to use and embedded in our website with a click of the button you are in our waiting room. Nothing can replace our "face to face" consultations however read the instructions posted earlier to help you feel comfortable and make the most out of your video consultation. Video consultations will incur an "out of pocket" fee similar to a "face to face" consultation.

09.01.2022 Video Consultation Pointers

08.01.2022 All BRMC doctors are offering appointments via telehealth (Zoom) or phone as well as regular face to face consultations. Patients who may have a fever or are showing signs of a respiratory illness are triaged at the surgery door, and asked to wait outside in our areas: red, white or blue. These areas are used by the Doctors to consult with their patient in private without the patient entering the surgery. Book your appointment online at: www.brmc.com.au

06.01.2022 BRMC is implementing changes to the way our Doctors consult with patients. Due to legislation being changed today, Dr Natasha Crees is now able to continue working from the surgery consulting all her patients via telehealth (Skype) or the phone. We are also researching whether there are other programs on offer that meet our security requirements for the long term. Please ring to make an appointment with Dr Crees.

04.01.2022 New Doctor joining our team We are pleased to welcome Dr Natasha Brown to our clinical team. Natasha completed her GP training here in Cairns and has decided to make her home in beautiful FNQ. She commences with Barrier Reef Medical Centre this Thursday 13/08/20 and is available from 8.00am each week, Tuesday through to Friday. Welcome Natasha.
