24.01.2022 Cottage Creek Australian Whites Game On is a young ram that is set to advance this great new sheep breed. As Cottage Creeks Tony Rutter states "This ram grew like a mushroom and is now built like a tank. He is an early shedder that has never seen a set of shears, even for a tidy up, and his feet have never been trimmed." Game On is now being joined to daughters of the record breaking Tattykeel 722 Leader ($38,000). They too are great shedders, have outstanding feet and are loaded with meat. Barru Australian White Sheep also has Game On progeny on the ground.

19.01.2022 A testament to toughness of the Australian White. The lamb on the right was found yesterday morning with just its head and one front leg protruding from the the mother - one backward leg hindering expulsion. It must have been like it for hours as its head was more than twice normal size, tongue swollen and blue and not able to be retained in the mouth. I pulled the lamb expecting it to have been dead for hours. When it hit the ground it coughed and began to breathe. I rubbed it vigorously, cleared its airways and bleated to bring the mother in which she did. Within hours it was on its feet and feeding. Only a tiny amount of fluid under the jaw is evident here 24 hours later. Tough as bloody nails!
