13.01.2022 Rylie got the win tonight against a very tuff opponent from AOS, a real hard fight and one the crowd loved to watch, well done Mick n Rylie the hard work is paying off.

08.01.2022 Basalt boxing has attended the National Novice Titles in Bathurst, 3 fighters took the stage, Charlize stepped up to the next weight division and lost to a split decision against Leah Haining from Victoria, Leah went on to win the gold. Next was our lad Rylie Candy who also stepped up to 86kg to fight Aiden Oloapu from NSW, Rylie got a 1st round KO and took home the gold, great vision and power for his 3rd fight, last fight was Sofie, who fought Tylisher Turner, also from NSW, sofie dug deep to win gold in a split decision and a brutal fight from start to finish, we where the only club representing QLD and the crowd support was awesome a great two nights of boxing
