Host Business:Laser 3D Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) After secondary school Mitchell started a degree in IT and a year later changed to Science / Geology however he wanted a more hands on career and struggled with the university model. To move from university he started a pre-apprenticeship engineering course at night school. His bold decision to leave his role as a retail manager to pursue a full time apprenticeship is now being rewarded. As Mitchell progresses through his Certificate III training he is also undertaking a Certificate IV in Engineering. Mitchell is also an active volunteer with Lord Somers Camp and Powerhouse where he works to foster self-confidence, team work and motivation amongst people with a disability, serious illness and refugees.
