23.01.2022 Today unfortunately we are deeply saddened by the passing of Ken Rhodes unexpectedly(DFD RHODES). Ken was a very loyal and respected customer over many years to us and also a friend whom would share many yarns and was a wealth of knowledge of the out back / engineering and transport . A little history many would know and many may not -They are the true mining pioneers of the Pilbara opening up of the Woodie Woodie Track for mining manganese and for the manufacturing of the Rhodes Ridley truck . The other interesting part of there legacy in transport was there own manufacturing and forging of trailer axles which were large parallel bearing style axles,in 1950/60 long before commercial trailer axle manufacturers started that option. Condolences to there family and may you RIP Ken .
