This coming weekend (1st Nov)I will kick off a fortnightlyMens Circle happening at The Studio in Tamworth from 3.45pm, 1st and 3rd Sundays. Simply put, this is a space for brotherhood. We'll practice, share, and show up for who we are.... Losing abest mate to suicide last year broughtthe issue of mens mental health in the country crashing home for me. In justa few short months back in my hometown, I have heard over and over stories of struggle from blokes feeling down and deserted. As men, we play the role of provider so well, giving much to those around us often at the cost of our own health and wellbeing. But self-care is not a selfish act. By taking steps to support ourselves we can be of even greater service to our family, our mates, and our community. So lets unite incompassion and humility, to discover we aren't alone in this and be present for those who need us. As BASE FIVE CO evolves as a platform for wellbeing in all of its many facets, I am always on the lookout for ways to bring more love, light, and life into being. What began as passing interest has evolved into a favorite past time.... Now wrapping is an opportunity: To sink into the moment. To lose myself in copper and stone as the serpentine wire shapeshifts. To cultivate a deep sense of joy at crafting refinement from rawness. To brighten days and lighten hearts.
