25.01.2022 Theyre here! For all those who have been waiting for our organic Hand Sanitiser to be restocked weve finally received a big shipment of bottles and sprays! I will be listing some on the website tonight at 8pm AEDT. Because I hand pour each and every bottle, then pack every order myself I will be slowly rolling these out in batches, to ensure I can keep up with the demand. 15.01.2022 Sustainability is a big priority here at BasiK Organics. We use glass, PET plastic and aluminum jars, tins and bottles for packing our products. PET plastic is PVC and Bisphenol-A (BPA) free, and can be recycled multiple times without losing its strength. Our glass, aluminum and PET jars, tins and bottles can be washed and re-used for multiple purposes. They make handy little containers for hair pins, earings, jewellery, hair ties, and anything else you can think of! Our pro...ducts are shipped off in recyclable cardboard boxes, which can be used around the house to store things, or are great for the kids to play with! And did you know those little white packing peanuts that keep your products safe and sound when in transit are in fact manufactured from renewable resources, being made of 100% natural starch, making them compostable? With the introduction of mandatory face masks and continued high number of new Covid cases its left many of us feeling pretty flat. 09.01.2022 What a start to the week. Melbourne school Mamas would feel me when I say thank goodness for a taste of at least some sort of normality, with the reopening of primary schools this week. My biggest 2 were back at it, leaving me to parent just 1 child. What bliss! 08.01.2022 Little ones are notorious for getting sweaty and rashy behind knees, elbows, neck and chin. This little man developed a red, rashy patch behind his knees so his mama was quick to apply our Skin Balm to help calm irritation and redness. The image on the left is when the rash was flaring. 06.01.2022 A must-have for every household, our Skin Balm is truly a multi-purpose balm, and certainly isnt just for little ones! We received an email with these pics a few weeks back and we just had to share. The image on the left is a common occurrence for many of us. Washing hands regularly is a given when you have little ones, and when water and humidity gets trapped underneath rings it can often lead to redness and irritation. The image on the right was taken after just 2 appli...cations (across just the 1 day)! You can see the redness has already faded dramatically. We would recommend using our Skin Balm regularly until the area has healed, ensuring you dry hands well after washing (especially underneath jewellery), and even better leave your rings off for a few days to air the area out and allow quicker healing. 06.01.2022 Things have been a little quiet in here lately. Truth be told like many others Im finding it hard to do everything right now. In between running a business, looking after a super busy 10-month-old who is into EVERYTHING and has cut 3 teeth in the past fortnight so is sleeping like a newborn again, and now overseeing distance learning with my 2 school boys, its certainly been a challenge to say the least! Im a big believer in self care as a mother, for your own mental heal...th and to help make you the best mother you can be to your littles. But this is so hard right now. I have next to no time to myself. I dont have any help from family who are usually an amazing support to me, and through it all Im just reminding myself to keep breathing. To focus and stay calm. I have been thinking of all the mothers (and fathers, too) who are finding it all a bit too much right now. Hang in there. We WILL get through this!
