18.01.2022 BYE BYE BASIL'S! It is with great sadness that we write to inform you that as of January 2019 the beautiful Basils Brush will no longer be available for short term holiday rentals. Over the years, we have welcomed hundreds of great guests and received amazing feedback. We have absolutely loved sharing our piece of Bangalow bliss with others but have decided the time has come to permanently rent the property.... When one door shuts, another opens, and for the fortunate family who rents the house on a long-term basis, they can enjoy the peaceful 10 acres - home to resident koalas and black cockatoos, sweeping views and the sparkling pool, every day. Just 15 minutes to the pristine beaches of Byron Bay, five minutes from the quaint township of Bangalow and a short bus ride to some great schools, Basils Brush presents the perfect opportunity for a sea and tree change. As you may have enjoyed Basils Brush over the years, we thought you may be interested in the move. Our family relocated there for three months in 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Basils Brush will be available for permanent rental, furnished or unfurnished, from Monday January 28, 2019. Bring your dog, cat, horse, cow or chickens and make Basils Brush your new home! 17.01.2022 So our trusty farmer who is responsible for those phenomenal flowers every April, currently is growing the best peas I've ever eaten in my life! We have gorged ourselves all weekend on fresh peas, straight from the pod. We also made them in to a tasty salad with some chorizo, feta, fennel, parsley and mint.

Crispy, squishy, doughy, creamy, cinnamony goodness in every bite! I would have included a photo, but we didn't stop eating it to even think of taking a picture! Trust me, they are THAT good!
