25.01.2022 Great way to wrap up the year we're currently converting this point cloud to a Revit model. Were no stranger to this I first came across point cloud scanning 6 years ago but at that time the converting process was painful to say the lease. Today as long as you have a good understanding of how to set the point cloud up in the Surveying stage so all your points register currently to build a complete point cloud model. The next stage it more about setting the point cloud up int...o workable layers to bring into Revit to convert to working Model. Point clouds a great way to get a precise scale model of an existing site capturing a huge amount of detail in a small amount of time. I'm going to do a video on the process in the coming weeks.

15.01.2022 Last weekend we were given a challenge just how quickly could we produce a design for a hairdressing salon. Challenge excepted the following was delivered in just under 6 hrs. It's not perfect, and we would never roll out a complete design like this, but it more than enough for a concept model process. From here we able to produce a good set of construction drawing in just another 5 hours. Below the steps we take.

08.01.2022 It's been a long time coming /Procrastinating but we have kicked off a YouTube channel showing the Day and the life of being a designer. Including everything from Site visits, In the office, Client meeting and everything in between the good and the Bad. We're also adding weekly how-to video on all aspects of running an Interior design firm. The first one uploaded the other day showing how to use Enscape with Revit. It's very rough learning how to use software to Video and Audio is a another level of learning. but the quality will improve over next few uploads promise. 08.01.2022 A few weeks ago we delivered this 3D DA model for a client who only had 2D cad drawing which let's just say didn't coordinate very well from Plan to Elevation. We had 48 hours to produce a working model which could be broken down into four levels of plans, elevation, typical section Roof plan, and rentable space plans. It was a long 48 hours with a little sleep thrown in but we did it. and has open the door to get back into Multi-Res Design.

03.01.2022 Last night for fun, my 13-year daughter and I played around with Premiere Pro and Artlist. Within five minutes, I was pushed aside. Why she selected and link the music to the animation, adjusting the timing all within minutes, It's incredible how switched on kids are today.

01.01.2022 Two years in the making. As of today all Pencil Ink project will include a AR model as part of the package. This allow client to walk through their design on site @ 1:1 scale we have GSP location marker built in so we are able to carry out live sun study at the same time leaving nothing to chance. From initial proof of concept to full construction model able to be checked on site before a signal chalkline is drawn. Save time and money to everyone involved.
