09.01.2022 As you leave home today in #Melbourne, reaching to grab the keys and phone, remember to also grab a face mask. Let’s all get better at this, do the right thing and help each other. Our family goal will be to eliminate this beast and stay at home, as much as we can. We sewed ours the week before, a spare for our daughter who will be wearing hers all day at school, one for the wash and an emergency packet of disposable masks in the car next to the hand sanitizer used as we get in or out. 05.01.2022 Scouting@home is a chance for us to keep our community active and alive in The Basin. Friends and family are all helping to check in with our vulnerable elderly and challenge our youth for tomorrow. Bravo to all our community volunteers and scouting leaders.

03.01.2022 Our scout group is back in action with outdoor games and fun with covid-safe program of outdoor activities on The Basin Triangle in our joey, cub, scout and venturer sections. We have been running since Easter an active scouting@home online program and even a treeplanting@home and now get to enjoy an outdoor adventure. We wish all our youth and uniformed leaders the fun they deserve whilst catching up face-to-face and playing the wide-area games.
