09.01.2022 3x3 Summer (Juniors) Announcement - 12 November 2020 The weather just doesn't want to cooperate this week, as severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued across the ACT for today and tomorrow. This means that tonight's 3x3 Summer (Juniors) is unfortunately POSTPONED again until next Thursday - 19 November 2020.... This postponement will see the Thursday competition run an additional week and conclude on 10 December 2020. We apologise for this and will keep our fingers crossed we can get some 3x3 action next week.

Jamie returns to the NBL after recent international coaching stints in Malaysia and NZ, as well as NBL and QBL roles in Cairns...... Well done to one of our favourite sons...

This announcement adds to Maddy's already MASSIVE 2020 - after her involvement in the UC Capitals Championship squad as a development player, selection in the Canberra Nationals team and stellar on-court contributions for the Ginninderra Rats, as well as completing Year 12 - and is a thoroughly deserved opportunity for a dedicated and talented player... 07.01.2022 The 2020 Winter competition has been running for a month now with games held every night at Belconnen Basketball Stadium... That's a lot of games when you factor in Premier Division, Senior Social and Junior games.....so it kind of makes sense that with so much traffic at the stadium, BACT has noticed a corresponding increase of LOST PROPERTY !!!! At the end of every night, MSO's gather anything left behind and either place them in the LOST PROPERTY Box (near the drinking fou...ntain on Court 1), the basketball trolley or the drink bottle crates... As @ Monday 17 August, we have had 47 drink bottles left behind, a whole heap of basketballs, and a raft of clothes...as per BACT policy, any lost property unclaimed by the end of the month, will be disposed of... Please note - Any valuable items found (ie wallets, purses, handbags, phones) or items with names/phone numbers, are held in the BACT office and we will do our best to contact you, and alert you that we have your item... So come and grab your gear, before its ALL gone !!!!!

04.01.2022 Over the weekend, Basketball ACT commenced transitioning our spectator check-in process to utilise the Check In CBR app...the safe and easy way to record your visit with us... You will start seeing QR Code posters on display, for spectators to scan on arrival... The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, however we have been informed that the Android version will be rolled out shortly......
