13.01.2022 TBL ROUND 4 PREVIEW 6pm - Washed On James Mustangs vs Southern Cross Bricklaying Eels This matchup sees a top of the table clash with the undefeated Eels taking on the in form Mustangs. The Eels have proven to be the best defensive side conceding just 72ppg while yet to give up over 80 points. In complete contrast the Mustangs boast Joseph Johnson and JaKobe Hunter who are the competitions leading scorers, Hunter coming off a game where is nailed 11 3s. For the Eels they wi...ll look to Josh Allen and Mayo Malek, both top 5 scorers, to lead the way. Rumour has it both sides with be at full strength with the Eels welcoming Jason Ebneter to their ranks. Everyone is anticipating this matchup and you don’t want to miss this explosive matchup tonight! 7.30pm - Westridge Fruit & Vegetables Warriors vs Pump123 Toowoomba Panthers The Panthers are currently 0-3 and eager to get their first win against the Warriors in the revenge game. In the last matchup the Panthers lead by 13 late in the 3rd before going down by 19 at full time. Thon Angui was massive in the last matchup and with the return of Patrick Roche and potentially James Lymer that will make the Warriors offence even more dynamic, especially if Syd Hume is out again. The Panthers focus has to be on the defensive end having given up 105, 98 and 125 so far. If the Panthers get stops they have shown they have the offensive firepower inside with Chris Longford the 5th leading scorer. Another matchup that looms as must win for both sides as they look to remain in the playoff hunt. Catch all the action tonight live at Saint Mary’s, Clive Berghofer Arena! A reminder we are still under Covid-19 restrictions so please ensure you sign in, sanitise your hands and observe social distancing.
