22.01.2022 A successful day dropping off Xmas presents to the Perth Children’s Hospital. Thanks to David Beacham for dressing up as Santa and leading the ride to deliver the presents donated by members and supporters of Bassendean RSL and Western Grunts Military Motocycle Club.

The tobacco Road Band night was a success The Bassendean RSL 10 Kenny St Bassendean WA is a success all on its own The fastest growing RSL in Western Australia The best boozer in the known universe You should come and have a look Meet strange but familiar faces We cater for all who served in our military regardless of unit, corp, arm or allied country We have Australian, British, American, Zimbabwe, Sth African and others that come down You should come down to help us help those that served and possibly assist your mental health. We have the Western Grunts Military Motorcycle Club, the Viper Club, 1 RAR ASSOC, 2/4 Assoc, the Commandos Assoc (have not seen them in a while), Meentheena veterans retreat Marble Bar and others that attend. We have former members of all the Infantry Battallions, SASR, SIGS, ARMOURED, CAV, BANDIES AND MORE, We have the Navy and Airforce represented every week plus others. Drinks are still cheap bar staff easy and cheap Still have a sausage Sizzle with meets provided by Bassendean Gourmet butchers. We are I believe what those that served and returned from the great War wanted an RSL to be and that can only be done by your attendance. 1630 Friday the Bassendean RSL 10 Kenny St Bassendean WA is the place to be Beer, premix, wine, goffas, water, coffee and tea if you like your choice. Yes we want you to come yes we want you to be a member yes we want you to help your club grow. Come one come all be part of this it's awesome . 18.01.2022 Great start to the new year, after a long wait we've commemorated Tony "Wobbly" Cox, who was a great supporter of the club who passed before he could see his name immortalised on the ramp he helped design and inspire. Also the last modern VC winner Teddy Sheehan VC painted with honour at there entrance with his compatriots with this award. Duty First Lest we forget

18.01.2022 Well well well I do hope all is well After a fantastic service for Remembrance Day which all involved at the Bassendean RSL 10 Kenny St Bassendean should be commended for we move forward into our regular Friday sessions of drinking (does not have to be alcohol) chatting, laughing and our world famous sausage sizzle. So come one come all we are a Serviceman and Servicewomans club for those that served by those that served. The best RSL in the known universe and it's here in... WA. Thats right the Bassendean RSL 10 Kenny St Bassendean WA. Now this weekend which is after our session on Friday yep that is Saturday The Western Grunts Military Motorcycle Club will be departing from the Bassendean RSL at approx 0915 to support the Military Brotherhood in saying goodbye to Mark Byrne a brother who served in the mighty 2nd/4th Battalion of the Royal Australian Regiment was also an MP and a fireman if you wish to join us on the ride meet at the club prior to 0915. Sunday is our Ride for Remembrance Day where we will be doing 2 dams and lunch in Jarrahdale you never know if we can organise it a trip to the R and R Centre might happen. 10.01.2022 The Western Grunts Military Motorcycle Club were joined by a couple of Patriots and a couple of riders from Boddington and attended the funeral service for our Military Brotherhood Military Motorcycle Club brother Mark Byrnsey Byrne. A fantastic service for a much respected man a 2nd/4th Battalion Soldier, a MP and a fireman. Farewell Brother may you RIP your duty is done.

09.01.2022 Ladies and Gentlefolk I have an announcement Russel Hutchings will be attending the Bassendean RSL 10 Kenny St Bassendean WA on the 11th of Dec 2020 for a one off book signing. He will be there from 1800 hrs I believe it will be his only book signing at an RSL. He will have copies of Mantra 6 Nitrate and Brimstone plus Mantra 6 coins for sale. So come down meet a SASR operator and a beat selling Author. Come one come all I am sure it will be a good evening.

05.01.2022 The Bassendean RSL Eastern Regional will be conducting a small commemoration ceremony at the BIC Memorial in Bassendean on Tuesday the 18th (Tomorrow) to commemorate the Battle of Long Tan and by extension ALL Vietnam Veterans. Please join us if you're able at 1100 at the memorial then returning to the RSL for some refreshments and a chat. Stay Safe see you tomorrow!!
