23.01.2022 Please Share Hey facebook world as you know I am riding from Coogee WA to Coogee NSW in March to help an ex serviceman get a prosthetic leg. The distance covered by me will be approx 4000kms. Well I have been gifted a Bowie Knife that has been manufactured by The Walkabout Chef in The Northern Territory his name is Steve Sunk. So what I am going to do is have a reverse silent auction. It will cost $5 to put in A BID FOR THE LOWEST INDIVIDUAL AMOUNT. It will be done by post o...nly. So if you want a guess place a $5 note in an envelope and post it to BOWIE KNIFE Bassendean RSL 10 Kenny St Bassendean WA 6054 The envelope must contain a 5er and the amount of your bid. If you wish 5 bids then the envelope should contain 5 x $5 and the 5 bid amounts. Only two people will know the amounts Bid and they are not permitted to enter. All Bids will go into an excell file and the recipient will be notified by mail or Facebook or both. The bids will only be accepted in a sealed envelope by hand or by post and we will not accept any bids after 31st March 2018. If you post and its received after that date we will keep the $5 but you will not be included in the draw. The winner will be notified on the Friday of my return to Perth it will be streamed on Facebook Live. If you are from outside Australia then $5 US OR 5 EURO OR 5 STERLING/POUND will be acceptable. This is a one off hand made Knife worth the effort and will go towards the Leg. 19.01.2022 Hello faceworld The Eastern Regional RSL AT 10 KENNY St Bassendean is having a New Years Eve Bash. $50 entry and you get a drink on Arrival the band and a feed and at midnight your bubbles are included. So come down let us know you are coming and have a great night. One thing for you to know beer is $4 premix drinks and wine are $5 Jack Daniels and Wild Turkey Premix $6 soft drinks $3 so come down have a good night and its cheap.

17.01.2022 Ok well to accept responsibility i may have stuffed up with the first Smooth Sunday Session of 2018. So thats now out of the way a suggestion was put to me to have Open mic Sunday Session with invited players and walkups to the microphone. If you let them know what song you want in advance the team will learn it. So as a trial last sunday what an awesome show. Guest Drummer and Bass player 2 guest singers. So get down here on the third Sunday this month and have a ball. We need enough other singers or i will get up and that could be devastating. Look out for the new poster.

Friday 22/12/2017 ...open 1600 hrs Big Bash on 1630 hrs. Book and pay for NYE get in early and make sure you have a place on the night. THERE may be fireworks and crackers but I did say no fireworks or crackers. Some people just go to far. We will have sparklers and party poppers and those whistle things and a happy party atmosphere. The band have had their stage rehearsal and its not to loud if we muzzle Connors Axe. The band will let you sing if they know the song they may even let me who knows. Support The Place That Supports Ex Servicepersons without fear or favour a local place that supports Help Save Our Veterans and Overwatch a place that supports our Coffee Club a place that is by Veterans for Veterans even if you were Airforce or Navy. We also welcome those that did not serve in Our Military but foreign Military's we also welcome civilians so make a date come to the club you may find it suits you just right. See more

ANZAC Day 2018 Start at 0500 hrs set up club for breakfast 0530 move to Bayswater memo...rial for Dawn Sevice 0600 Dawn Service commences 0700 Gun Fire Breakfast at the Bassendean RSL including Rum and Coffee 0830 head off to March in the city. 1100 return to Bassendean Rsl for light lunch and sausage sizzle that will coomence after the club President returns from the Bassendean March. 2 up commences after lunch 1400 band kicks off 1900 ish we might close Going to be a huge day come down spend some money and enjoy yourself.
