25.01.2022 Kevin Elias Memorial Trophy Shoot 8/11/20 Today we remembered our great mate Kevin Elias who sadly passed away just over 2 years ago. Many fond memories were shared and one shooter ( who was shooting extremely well) claimed Kevin must have been steering his gun for him.. Thanks to all who turned up to compete and help out on the day and honor the great memories of Kevin. Thanks also to Kevins nephews who while unable to attend this year, once again were able to kindly sponsor... their beloved late Uncles Shoot to the tune of $500 to the Trophy winner . The great Grady Evans was able to prevail to take out the Kevin Elias Trophy and was very happy and proud to be adding his name to this wonderful trophy honoring our mate Kevin. Grady also took out the days overall High Gun after another shoot off with Darryl Weal. Congrats Grady !! 25.01.2022 Hello everyone, It’s time to re-new your 2021 membership to the Bathurst Clay Target Club and the Australia Clay Target Assoc. The 2021 membership renewal form is attached. The cut off for membership renewals is 31/01/21. If you let your membership lapse for 2020, as many did for obvious reasons, you can simply reapply on line or complete the attached form and either email it back to me or drop it into the club when you come up to practise (from 12.00noon on most Fridays). I...f you apply online you can pay the ACTA direct or if you apply through the club you can pay cash or credit card at the club. You can also direct deposit to the club account BSB 082441 Account number 509529695. If you do that please use your name as the reference so that we now who paid us. Briefly, 2020 was obviously a dreadful year for everyone because of the corona virus. Regardless of who we each choose to support politically, it is a fact that Australia is, as always, truly the lucky country. Our Governments have generally worked well together and the virus threat here is therefore negligible compared to many other places in the world. Although we must continue to be vigilant, we are now in a position where we can once again start to enjoy our lives. So, with that in mind, I recommend that now is the time to blow off the cobwebs and come shooting again. See you at the club soon!
