22.01.2022 One of the clubs annual feature events The Chris Mooney for 2020 has been taken out impressively by Ritza Dot for Rob Tyler in a 30:06, a nice pre curser for the Million Dollar Regional Final. Congratulations Rob on a great win.

17.01.2022 Participants please be advised that the Bathurst Club will be holding a 307m Maiden series at the end of September. Heats will be run Monday 28th September with the final to be run Monday 5th October (long weekend). Prizemoney for the final will be $1,500 to the winner plus 3 months worth of Ladbrokes Red Dog prizemoney (currently $3,000). As it stands the Final is currently worth $4,500 to the winner, every red dog that wins between now and 28th September adding another $200 to winning prizemoney. 17.01.2022 The 12th running & 2020 edition of the Stan Cassidy Memorial has just been run and taken out impressively by the Paul Braddon Shes a Gem in a slick 25:85 taking her career record to 11 wins from 23 career starts. Tonights win is the beginning of her pursuit for the Million Dollar Chase series which kicks off in the coming weeks!!

Sam is also a man of few words but his r...eaction to his daughters dog Flying Ricciardo, says so much about his opinion of the rising star. Flying Ricciardo did exactly what everyone expected he would at Bathurst on Monday night, winning the Regional Final of the TAB Million Dollar Chase, and advancing to the semi-finals of the event at Wentworth Park on October 9. Coincidentally, its the identical path taken by Good Odds Harada 12 months ago, a path which culminated in victory and a cheque for $1 million for that dogs connections. But while Harada was the star then, Flying Ricciardo is the new it dog on the racing scene and Mondays success in a slick 29.58s took his record to 12 wins and two seconds from 14 starts. He won his heat and final at that Bathurst track, and less than two months later, he would be crowned grand final champion and win his connections $1 million. At Bathurst on Monday night, another group of dogs kick started their Million Dollar Chase campaigns, and while there is a lot of water to pass under the bridge, and lot of racing to happen between now and then, it would not be a major surprise if the Central West again produced the winner.
