17.01.2022 Quote from the article below It is easy to dismiss doulas as trendy add-ons for the wealthy, but women have been supporting women as they become mothers for centuries...I want every woman to feel like Royalty

16.01.2022 Such a great visual, I had to share. #Repost @bundlebirth I'm a visual learner so I thought this might help to visualize what happens to the cervix during ...labor. Watch the cervix Sorry it's a bit blurry IG changes the quality when I upload, but you get the idea For first time mommas, the cervix will likely thin out (efface) before it dilates (opens). Remember, labor is when your cervix changes with contractions... So if your cervix isn't changing it's not labor yet! Want to learn more? Check out my first ever YouTube video "what is labor?"- who's been around since then?- and see how far I've come with my videos . #birth #labor #cervix #uterus #dilation #effacement #childbirtheducation #baby #visualaid #education #laboranddelivery #contractions #pregnancy #birthability #birthabilityeducation #lamazeaustralia #lamazeeducatorAU #lamazeeducator See more

16.01.2022 Australia, we need your help! If you care for women, this should be on your radar. We are meant to be moving forwards, opening options for our birthing women an...d families. Providing evidence based care. Listening to our consumers. Well, we are not being heard. It's time to get loud. What we need! Please, watch, comment, share and sign. We need your help. The time to make our needs known has come. More options. NO obstetric violence. Continuity of care with a known midwife. Bundled funding. NO birth trauma. Respectful evidence based care. Removal of restrcitions on our Privately Practicing Midwives. The reinstatement of a basic human right. 08.01.2022 I wrote this as an assignment for a midwifery class last year. It was supposed to be an artistic expression of the woman's experience of her birth, that I had a...ttended the week before as a brand new baby midwife student. I'm finding it comes into my head often these days as I get the privilege to spend more time in that magical space with birthing people. I figured a few of you might like to hear it *****EDIT********* I was so not expecting this many people to see and love my little song! I have received a ton of messages asking to be able to download the song and have the lyrics. Given that I am STILL a very busy midwifery student, I don't have much time or financial resources to be able to produce an amazing quality song to be downloaded, but I quickly recorded a version for folks wanting to add it to playlists and whatnot, which is available on Bandcamp. http://oliviatupper.bandcamp.com/track/she-roars Thank you again for all the love and support, I am overwhelmed at the amount of loving messages I am receiving. My heart is so full and I am amazed at the size and strength of the birth worker community that exists on here! Love to you all!

Donors will have to meet eligibility criteria, established through a lifestyle questionnaire and blood test to screen the donor for infectious diseases.
