25.01.2022 People of Bathurst, start making some noise and raise your concerns to the Head of Wester Area Health, Scott McLachlan, who is ignoring the health needs of our community!!!! What services would you like to see put in our hospital? What clinical services do you see as being essential that are not offered at present?? The Hoyle Report into clinical services at Bathurst Hospital in 2014, recommended more beds to facilitate more patients and therefore more clinicians. WAS THIS RE...PORT IGNORED??? What will be the outcomes from the report being done now??? Same old is my guess! Just a document to TICK THE BOX on Community consultation with no follow up action. ITS TIME FOR THE PEOPLE OF BATHURST TO STAND UP AND DEMAND A DECENT HEALTH SERVICE OF WHICH THEY RIGHTFULLY DESERVE !!!! See more

19.01.2022 A big congrats to my two star graduates of Bathurst Learn to Drive with the Aubin Bros Racing duo of Blake and Kyle finishing 1st and 2nd in class C at the NSW Production Touring Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park over the weekend. After being out qualified by a Subaru WRX in the rain on Saturday morning the pair of Bathurst racers lead the rest of the Class C field home to finish a very credible 1-2. with Blake taking the honours in the HSV Astra at its maiden outing with the team. Kyle pushed big brother all the way to take 2nd in Class C in the Renault Megane and set up an exciting next round at Wakefield Park in around 4 weeks time.

18.01.2022 Storming to a class win at SMP last weekend. The Bathurst Real Estate/ Hertz Bathurst HSV Astra is looking good for a State Championship.

18.01.2022 Two graduates of Bathurst Learn to Drive who finished an incredible 14th outright and 3rd in class in the Hi Tec oils Bathurst 6 Hour race at Mt Panorama yesterday. They started 33rd on the grid and both drove a faultless race. A front tyre failure with Kyle at the wheel dropped them back to 20th but after a brilliant pitstop by the team Kyle went back out and started to climb back thru the field. Blake then got in for the final 1 hour stint and stormed thru to 14th by race end. Blake began his stint 2 and a half minutes behind the 3rd placed car of Rick Shaw and drove like a demon to catch and pass him with 3 laps to go. Sensational

17.01.2022 Take a look at Aileen Haan on the happiest day of her life.( Sorry Dave, 2nd happiest day) Aileen really wanted a licence to Drive so much and when the big day arrived the lesson before her test was done in blissful silence, so nervous was she. When the verdict was handed down by the RMS Examiner there was pandemonium inside the building and I reckon Aileen could have skipped all the way home to Kelso to show Dave her "P" plates. Well done and congratulations Aileen. You are a champion.

14.01.2022 Hi everyone out there in Learner Land. We have just put 2016 away and as we head into 2017 lets all try very hard to become the best drivers that we can be. We have seen way too many deaths on our local roads recently and that is something that needs to STOP. Sorry to sound like a broken record but we have to get certain things entrenched into our brains: 1 - Drive to both road and weather conditions. Dont speed, You will die 2 - Dont be distracted by anything inside your ...vehicle. Turn off mobile phones because if they give a message alarm you WILL look to see who its from. Eyes off the road for 2 seconds and we will read about you in the newspaper. 3 - Be responsible passengers and dont be a distraction to the driver. Tell the driver to slow down if they are driving too fast. Its your life at risk too. 4 - Dont drive when you would normally be asleep. Your body will shut down quickly. 5 - Dont for one minute think it wont happen to you because thats what the last fatality thought. 6 - Be safe, Drive with your head, not your testosterone and cherish your life and those around you. You are a long time dead!!! 7 - Enjoy 2017.

12.01.2022 Such a disappointment to see so many unnecessary deaths on our roads over the Christmas period. This is the time of year that we should be having fun in the sun with family and friends, not visiting the morgue to identify a loved one after a car crash. We can lay the blame on a number of different factors, but the main thing is that when you get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, or bike, BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN ACTION. Too many of us will fuel up the car and drive unt...il the fuel light comes on. That is way too long without a break. Fatigue is unpredictable and can hit you anytime. Take responsibility, stop regularly and get out to stretch your legs, keep hydrated, dont drive when you would normally be asleep and drive to road and weather conditions. Plan your trip to have regular breaks. AND FFS DONT SPEED. See more

03.01.2022 Hi everyone out there in L..earner land. These are for sure the craziest times that we have ever experienced. Here at Bathurst Learn to Drive I have spent the past 4 days contemplating the future for all of us and feeling sorry for those of you that have had your driving tests cancelled. It is going to be at least June before tests will be available and possibly longer, so don't stop driving. Put the pressure on either mum or dad to take you out for some much needed practice..., which will be beneficial to all involved including getting out of the house before everyone goes stir crazy. Bathurst Learn to Drive will resume lessons as soon as it is safe to do so. I will give notice at least a week out so bookings can be made, so Watch This Space. Stay Healthy, take care and enjoy some wet weather driving whilst you can. P.S.
