24.01.2022 A Scout smiles and whistles under all circumstances, but when things add up over time, it can all get a bit overwhelming. Here are some ways you can take care of yourself.

24.01.2022 Bernardi's Marketplace Bathurst building better communities program has selected 3rd Bathurst All Saints Cathedral Scouts group as one of three beneficiaries. When shopping at Bernardi's Market place in Bathurst ask for the green token and place in our box. Each of the 3 community groups will be given a monetary donation according to how many tokens each collected.

21.01.2022 On Tuesday, the Cub Section enjoyed a wonderful night of learning about the Indian Culture! We played Indian games, learnt some Bollywood dance moves and got to do some cooking! A MASSIVE thank you to our parent helpers! We love having our parents share their talents and knowledge!

21.01.2022 Unfortunately the NSW Cuboree 2020 has been cancelled and will not proceed. All participants have been contacted to explain the reasons for cancellation. Scout...s NSW takes the health and safety of our members at Scouting events very seriously, and we work closely with local authorities so that we have the most up to date and relevant information possible to make informed decisions. Due to significant and persistent concerns over bushfires, road closures and air quality, and a firm recommendation from the RFS Command and the Regional Emergency Management Officer to cancel Cuboree 2020, the NSW Cuboree 2020 has been cancelled and will not proceed. All information and updates will be available on the Cuboree website. https://cuboree.nsw.scouts.com.au//64-cuboree-2020-cancell

20.01.2022 On Tuesday this week, the Cubs learnt about the local Aboriginal Warrior; Windradyne. We learnt about his legacy and his life and then created dot paint artworks.

19.01.2022 MASTER CHEF MEETS NAILED IT! Last night the Cubs, Scouts and Rovers had a breakfast cookout! Three teams of Cubs vs a team of Rovers in a bacon and pancake challenge that had the entire hall smelling amazing! A big thank you to our two judges for the evening from the Scout unit who had a tough job tasting the final entries and choosing a winner! Not only did the youth walk away from the evening with full tummies and extra cooking skills but valuable development in team build...ing. NEXT WEEK: Cubs will be exploring planets and space with paint, so be sure to wear something that can get dirty! 13.01.2022 WHAT ON EARTH?? Tonight inline with the theme for the upcoming Cuboree and working towards our Space badges, the Cubs started the first stage of creation on their very own solar systems. Each Cub painted all the planets and the sun while rotating around different space stations. All while learning interesting facts about our universe. Afterwards we spent some time using a telescope to try and observe the moon outside. A big thank you to our parent helpers tonight, especially... our dads who helped with our telescope! Parent helpers are always welcome at our Cub sessions. If you would like more information on how to get involved, please let me know. Skye 'Kniffy' - Cub Leader NEXT WEEK: Local History night, meet at the hall. #Cubs #Cubscouts #FollowMeToCuboree2020 #ScoutsAustralia #3rdBathurst #BathurstNSW #Scouts #3rdBXScouts #3rdBathurstScoutGroup

08.01.2022 STEP BACK IN TIME Last night the Cubs, together with helpers from the Scouts, 3rd Bathurst Rovers and Cub parents, went on an exploration around the Town Square in search of local history. It was definitely rug up warm weather, but this didn’t stop our brave Cubs and the hot pizza picnic was definitely a great reward at the end. Tonight we also invested our newest Cub who has linked up from our Joeys section.... 1, 2, 3 Wolf! Do you know a young person aged 8 - 11 who likes h...anging with their friends, getting outside, learning new skills and having fun? Maybe Cubs might be worth a try? Message our page for more info on how to get involved! Skye ‘Kniffy’ - Cub Leader. #CubScouts #BXScouts #Roversdostuff #BathurstNSW #123Wolf
