25.01.2022 Bathurst folk - as COVID-19 health restrictions are still in place, the club's committee has made the decision to postpone to March 21st next year. Please mark it in your diaries - it will be a fantastic day we're sure!

22.01.2022 Congratulations to Tim Duty who has won Series 1 of Bathurst Soaring's inaugural photo competition! His entry, "Winter Wave at Bathurst", shows a rare but exciting weather phenomenon known as atmospheric waves, right over our club.

22.01.2022 A lovely day to soar over #Bathurst town! . . . .... #bathurstnsw #visitbathurst #gliding #gliding See more

13.01.2022 Fog's clearing - get ready to launch the fleet! Drone photo by member David Hofman. #gliding #dronephotography #bathurst

11.01.2022 It's safe to say that all of us at Bathurst Soaring Club are itching to get in the air again. Videos like this make the pain real.

10.01.2022 People ask "how far can a glider fly?". Well.. under the right conditions, glider and pilots, that can be a long way. This recent flight of 2,400km by the Nixus Project represents Bathurst to Auckland... with no engine!

10.01.2022 Well done to Daryl Neil who came equal 2nd in Series 1 of BSC's photo competition, with his entry "Winter at BSC". It reminds us all of the love and dedication we have for the sport - to get the fleet out and prepped on a cold Bathurst morning!

09.01.2022 It's almost soaring season again, which means it's time to do the very thorough annual inspection known as the "Form 2". A big shout out to the hardworking team of Len, Aaron, Serge, Richard, Graeme and Bill (plus more I'm sure) who have been working diligently on our glider fleet to make sure they're fully safe and certified for the upcoming season!

09.01.2022 Doesn't get much better than this.

07.01.2022 Well done to Ed Marel for his equal 2nd place in Bathurst Soaring Club's photo competition - "Sunset at Pipers". Those of us who live in Bathurst know the spectacular sunsets we often get.

06.01.2022 Looking for that unique Father's Day present? What better than the ultimate experience of silent flight - soaring over Bathurst and Mt Panorama! Give him a voucher this Sunday - and when the club re-opens its doors to the public after September 12th 2020 (COVID pending!) he'll be ready to fly like an eagle! https://www.bathurstsoaringclub.com.au//father-s-day-gift-

04.01.2022 Congratulations @jesse versteegen on a successful first solo! The bucket of water is a ritual all pilots must endure after such an accomplishment. Even the instructor Dean Ward got a drenching as it was his first student sent solo at Piper's! Well done!

02.01.2022 Soaring over the mighty Mt Panorama! One more month until the big race...
