14.01.2022 Again it’s the public groups having to fight against the government to protect our country from mining With the help of the EDO Bylong Valley Protection Alliance also went to court to defend the IPC decision because the IPC wouldn’t (or couldn’t).

04.01.2022 Cross your fingers and toes-cross everything. The outcome of KEPCOs appeal in the land and environment court against the sound and just IPC decision is due tomorrow afternoon. Gateway decision = Fail IPC = rejected Let’s hope it’s three strikes and you are out and Bylong can always have a quiet Christmas without the hum and bustle of a coal mine

03.01.2022 A year ago the Independent Planning Commission gave a well reasoned and resounding NO to mining Bylong. A year on and money has been raised (thanks), the EDO have defended the KEPCO appeal against this decision and now we wait - for the outcome. Fingers crossed that the appeal is knocked back giving us an early Christmas present !!!
