24.01.2022 So glad that our school was able to be a part of the VSSS for the second year. Very proud of the students involved and thankful for the support from parents and the school community.

23.01.2022 Dear Community, I am delighted to share information about our new permanent modular building with you. The building, which is almost complete, has been architecturally designed and... constructed offsite. This means its been ready quicker and with far less disruption than a traditional building. We worked closely with the design team to ensure our new building reflects Baxter Primary Schools vision and needs. The new learning centre includes flexible learning spaces that accommodate innovative teaching practices for small and large student groups, as well as student amenities. The classrooms are centred around a learning common area which can be used for small or large group withdrawal, and student led collaborative project-based learning activities. The new building also features a large external decking, which overlooks the schools existing sensory garden and provides a protected external undercover learning and break out space. 22.01.2022 BAXTER PRIMARY SCHOOL 2019 ART SHOW 22nd March 3:15pm to 5:30pm Junior Learning Centre This years art show is upon us, and we would like to further extend our invitation to you and your families to come along and enjoy your childrens work of art! Our school choir will be performing and our year 6 students will be running activities. The canteen will be open selling refreshments and snacks. The due date for competition artwork is Wednesday 20th March with a $2 entry fee. Ther...e is also an adult category if any parents would like to enter. We have selectively framed a piece of each child's artwork for the day and offer you the chance to purchase that framed artwork for $20. We are proud of your children's time and effort they have put into each piece. Please come along and enjoy it with us! See more

01.01.2022 Breakfast Club is back in 2019! Starting tomorrow morning at 8:30am, we will be holding breakfast club in our school hall. This will run every Tuesday morning (unless otherwise advised).

01.01.2022 This morning we have made the decision to postpone our City Camp that was due to begin this Monday. In light of recent developments and government restrictions if crowded places, we believe this is the safest decision. Once the Coronavirus pandemic has subsided we will look at an alternate date to hold the camp. Across the school, any further excursions to the CBD or places with large crowds will also be put on hold. The health and safety of the Baxter Primary School communit...y will always be our number one priority. At this stage, school will resume as normal on Monday morning.
