I will be in South Africa next week (Still doesn’t feel real) I have been smashing through work this week and will be bringing my laptop with me to finalise some jobs. 13.01.2022 What an amazing year it has been! It is important to look back through the ups and downs and reflect on how far you have come. Whilst operating my business, I have also been working in real estate for almost 5 years and at the start of this year I took the leap to go part time (2 days per week) After putting more hours into the business over the year, I was able to quit my job on December 4!!! Although it was hard to say goodbye to my second family, it was also an... easy decision to make as I had made my full time income in just 6 months in the biz and knew it was time to take the leap and see where this baby could go! One thing I have learnt this year is that if you don’t change what you’ve always done then you will always get what you’ve always got. I also learnt that what you put in is what you get out. I found that the hardest part was taking the first step, getting out of my own way and blocking out the opinions of others. The rest came easy. 2019 in review Went part time in February in my day job Gained some amazing new clients Valued my skills and experience and changed my hourly rate Gained more time and freedom to do what makes me happy Continued volunteering design services for AIOP Brought Milo into the family Gained experience creating 3 x Annual Reports Enjoyed some time off in Phuket and Melbourne with the bestie @lilynorth3 Enjoyed a relaxing Christmas with the whole family (haven’t had us all together in 8 years) Quit my job in early December! Secured an office space in the city Here’s to the beginning of a scary but exciting new chapter Happy New Year everyone! Please know that you can do anything you put your mind to, whether it’s in your personal life or career. Throw your fears into the wind, life is too short! @zoeclairephotos

02.01.2022 I’m baaackk!.. The last 3 weeks in Africa felt like 6 months away, it was that jam packed. I arrived back on Tuesday and asked Mum what’s changed in Darwin, obviously not much in only 3 weeks I will post more pictures soon (I have to filter through 1500 photos as I don’t want to bore you ) In the meantime here is a pic from the air When we drove through the mountains one side was really green and the other quite dry. You can see this in the second picture ... I managed to stay on top of emails and quotes but that’s about it. I had the best holiday and was an amazing experience but so glad to be home now with my dog and my bed. Looking forward to catching up on work and getting straight into it! I hope you all have had a great start to 2020
