25.01.2022 Large law firms and smaller firms both have their place in the legal ecosystem and there are advantages and disadvantages to engaging either one. Today I thought I'd explore them a bit more https://www.bayberryweir.com.au/big-law-firms-vs-smaller-f/

19.01.2022 Two years of having this awesome lady on our team and she is the best!!! She is an amazing team member and colleague, top of her field, a fountain of knowledge and support, and our clients love her. We couldn't do it without you Emma xx

19.01.2022 At Bayberry & Weir we love helping our clients and we feel grateful and privileged to help them through what is often a difficult time in their life. When the gratitude comes back to us from them, from a thank you to deliveries like this, we know we’ve achieved our goal and all our effort and care has been worthwhile

18.01.2022 Pretty excited about our favourite cafes and restaurants re-opening next week! Customised for cafes and restaurants, this CRM system will help you request and c...apture your customer's details so you can remain compliant under Covid-19 requirements. The system will securely store your customer data, provide information to authorities if the need arises and, correspond with customers via email to keep them up to date with specials or changes to opening hours. Take a look at this video demo https://zcu.io/kmkr and register your interest via https://zcu.io/fq4s

15.01.2022 A GOOD legal system takes into account what's within the rules and what's not. A GREAT legal system realises that its primary purpose is to serve the people. It takes the values, morals and ethics of its people into account, as well as the rules and strives to be better for both.

12.01.2022 Smaller legal firms have the ability to deliver greater service, flexibility, accessibility and human-ness. Agree or disagree? What's been your experience?

11.01.2022 Cases that are not open and shut are the ones that matter, the ones that define the law and add nuance, and often precedent, to our system.

09.01.2022 No win, no pay culture squeezes out any cases that are not open and shut. Agree or disagree?

07.01.2022 If you're running a small business it's often your job to perform a range of different roles simultaneously. Finding the time to take a step back in order to see the bigger picture can seem almost impossible. Enter, the power of expert advice.

07.01.2022 Has the quest for never ending growth meant we’ve outgrown creating relationships with the little guy? Once upon a time when people went to the bank, they used to get their own banker. The banker would take all of the client’s circumstances into account for each and every important banking transaction, and the client would often stay connected with that banker creating a relationship. Fast forward to today and we have a very different scenario. The size of banks and the compe...titive environment in which they operate has forced out the old way of doing business. Making money and having vast numbers of clients are the priorities. Good service and "human-ness" have fallen by the wayside. I believe the same has happened to many large law firms in our system. This might be an unpopular opinion but business is more fulfilling when deep client relationships trump the pursuit of never ending growth.

05.01.2022 Over the following 21 days the team at Bayberry & Weir Legal is completing 3,128 push ups to raise awareness and funds for Headspace to support their mission of supporting more young people. Headspace is an organisation working to strengthen the mental health and well-being of young Australians. The Push-Up Challenge started in 2018 and aims to raise awareness of mental health in Australia. This year, The Push-Up Challenge highlights the devastating number of Australian lives lost to suicide in 2017. Our team would be grateful for any donation you may be able to make.

05.01.2022 Taking the time to understand a small business client’s bigger picture and long term goals always pays off. Rather than leaping to solve the immediate problem presented by the client we can understand the wider implications and cause of what might be a symptom of a deeper issue, Working to educate the client and create a solution that creates a smoother long term business journey rather than a quick fix is great service.

04.01.2022 Does your business compete on value? Price? Or something else? And if so, what?

02.01.2022 With only one week to go and very tired arms we’d love your support in teaching our goal...
