25.01.2022 Happy World Photography Day! Saw this asked on another site today, and thought wed try it here. Whats your favourite photo youve ever taken (and why?)... This is a recent one of mine... but my "favourite" image changes almost daily! I like this one because I feel it crosses the barrier between photography and art, without losing definition of either. Share some of yours! (Doesnt have to be just one!) Cheers Pam

(Also, ple...ase make use of the hand sanitiser and meeting contact record on entry and departure). ***If you are feeling unwell, please think of others and stay home. 05.01.2022 What a weekend with Dean Saffron, learning about social documentary, photojournalism, and how to recognise and capture a story in pictures. Weve had some good fun and lots of laughs like we normally do! Massive thanks to Kym, Tony, and Paul from H.E.M.E. for giving us the opportunity and allowing us to do an site shoot, and even though Tony professed he "was no model", he did an amazing job!... Cheers Pam With thanks to the CHRC and RADF. The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Central Highlands Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

05.01.2022 Want to get to know your camera better? Join the people who know at the clubroom in the Emerald Arts Precinct behind the library at 9:30am on Sunday for a casual basic camera workshop. Bring your camera with fully charged battery & tripod. Come on down whether youre all over your camera tech or not! Well have a bit of a chat and a catch up, and itll be a great excuse to dust off your gear for 2020. Due to the casual nature of this workshop there will be no attendance fee required or food provided.
