25.01.2022 We are excited to announce that Michaela will be taking on our Administrator role Monday 5th October and will work, Monday, Wednesday and Friday's 9am-6pm. Michaela comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience and will be the perfect fit welcoming everyone with her bubbly personality. Bella will take the position in the nursery on Wednesday, Thursdays and Friday's that same week. Also we wish Ragen a safe transition to Maternity leave Thursday 9th October and cannot wait t...o meet her beautiful bouncing baby in the future. Phoebe will pick up the days and work Monday to Thursday in Junior 2. Hayley will work in Junior 1 on Monday's also. Monday 5th October we also welcome Rochelle to our full time Multi-age team of educators and look forward to getting to know her. Rochelle was a student here in Kinder 4 and is continuing her studies while she works. Caitlin will finish coming in for Temperature Checks of Children and Staff on Friday 2nd October, we thank Caitlin for making this transition smooth for everyone involved and wish her well with her future. Commencing Monday 5th October until Friday 16th October we will continue these check in the rooms. (Subject to health advice) So if families can please find an educator to take their child's temperature on arrival. We can also continue to support families by meeting them to bring their child in if they have younger siblings in the car, however we are also happy for siblings to come in if you're comfortable with that also. We will continue to follow health advice and may update you of changes as they become available to us. We again thank you for your patience and understanding around all he measures we have put into place to continue to keep everyone safe and well.

18.01.2022 Dear Parents We are transitioning to a new Child Care Management System for families accounts in the coming weeks. As a result you will begin receiving communication from Smart Central and Child Care Easy Pay regarding any enrolment and fee related enquiries so please keep your eyes peeled for this. You will receive a request to complete some details for your current and future enrolments online to streamline things. For those who have debit success set up for your fee paymen...ts we now have an easier way for you to pay your Child Care Fees! To help streamline how we process our child care fees we’re switching to Direct Debit the easy way to pay. With Direct Debit, your child care fees are automatically deducted from your nominated bank account, or credit or debit card, when they’re due. That’s right, with Direct Debit, you no longer have to come into the centre, or go online, to pay. Your fees are paid on time, every time. Using Direct Debit as our method of payment helps us maintain health and safety through no contact payments and significantly reduces the amount of time we need to spend on admin time that can be better spent looking after the children. To help us achieve this, we are asking families to please register by 09 October 2020. To register, simply click on the below link. You’ll be directed to an online Direct Debit registration form, prefilled with the details you provided in your enrolment application. Please choose your payment type and enter the details of the bank account or card you wish to use for payments. Please note that is NO COST for this service. 13.01.2022 When we feel nervous about managing children's behaviour or difficult emotions, we can sometimes find ourselves ranting or rambling at the child because we're feeling afraid or nervous. When you see a child struggling emotionally, stop and feel the ground through your feet. Take a breath, and say to the child "you're ok", or "you're safe".... Repeatedly saying these two phrases will calm down your nerves and the child's emotions. Once everyone is calm, then you both take a moment to talk. But until then the amygdala and the child's language system of the brain can't hear you.

01.01.2022 We have some welcome news for families!!! The government have announced that they are extending the Early Childhood Fee Freeze until 31st January 2021. Therefore our previous announcement of a fee increase effective 5th October is no longer going ahead. Some key points about this are outlined below: 25% Recovery Payment for all Victorian services until 31 January 2021... Additional 30 days absences, making a total of 72 days Relaxed activity test for families extended to 4 April 2021 I would like to remind any families who have been financially impacted; it is important to contact Centrelink regarding your entitlements as you may be able to access an increased child care subsidy and in some circumstances free childcare for a period of time. Please don't hesitate to come and see Amanda or myself if you need any further clarification on this. The main thing is that unless you have had any changes to your income recently there should be no change to your fees. Have a great weekend. Michelle
