23.01.2022 Following our mouthguard awareness at the start of the sporting season, below we have some great information on the different types of mouthguards including custom-fit vs over-the-counter boil and bite. It is worthwhile investing in a custom-fitted mouthguard to ensure there is sufficient protection to the teeth, jaw and mouth. The over-the-counter boil and bite mouthguard does not provide enough protection against dental injuries that can occur.

She has been treating children in our Rosny practice for the past 18 years. Liz will work at our city practice on Fridays and alternate Thursdays while continuing to see patients at our Rosny practice Monday to Wednesday and alternate Thursdays. 15.01.2022 Over the past 25 years Bayfield Dental in conjunction with Work and Training have provided traineeships for Certificate III in Dental Assisting. This is a 12 month on the job training program as well as TAFE study and assessments. We have provided traineeships and employment for 30+ trainees. We currently have 5 trainees at our practice. Let us introduce you to our recently qualified Dental Assistants who now have been with us for 2 years, Piper, Jess and Ash (not picture...d). Piper and Jess are an integral part of our Bayfield Dental team. Ash moved to Burnie earlier in the year and is continuing her career in the dental industry. Bianca’s role is to work in conjunction with the dentists to provide preventative dental care that includes scaling and cleaning, oral hygiene care and therapeutic agent management.
