17.01.2022 Delicious way to end this gorgeous week

16.01.2022 STUDENT REVIEW . Meet Steve Tripodi Yoga one of our divine masculine brothers, fellow teacher and friend . Beck Hall Yoga and I met doing our ytt200 training in Bali back in 2016, the energy she brought to the group and to my experience of the training gave me little doubt that the day I finally found myself lucky enough to get along to one of her classes that it would be as beautiful, nurturing and honest as she is. It was Beck's yoga retreat and warm welcome to her ho...me here on the east coast of tassie that meant I had the time and the best space possible to rediscover a daily yoga practice to which I am so very grateful to Beck for, you are truly doing yourself a favour when you gift yourself the time to take one of her classes . In the winter of 2018 I was lucky enough to assist and be mentored by Krystal Yamamoto in a 10 week yoga and strength program, Krystal is a wealth of knowledge and my personal practice as well as the craft of teaching yoga benefited emensely from this intensive program, her classes often encourage and reward you with finding that little bit extra you didn't know you had, all the while keeping your body safe and only ever exploring limits with a playful curiosity. You can be sure when you walk into one of Krystals classes that you will float out feeling nurtured and accomplished . Thank you for your loving words and continued support dear brother, we are honoured to have you as part of our soul tribe and look forward to growing each other for many years to come! 13.01.2022 I do not particularly like the word 'work.' . Human beings are the only animals who have to work, and I think that is the most ridiculous thing in the world. O...ther animals make their livings by living, but people work like crazy, thinking that they have to in order to stay alive. The bigger the job, the greater the challenge, the more wonderful they think it is. It would be good to give up that way of thinking and live an easy, comfortable life with plenty of free time. . I think that the way animals live in the tropics, stepping outside in the morning and evening to see if there is something to eat, and taking a long nap in the afternoon, must be a wonderful life. For human beings, a life of such simplicity would be possible if one worked to produce directly his daily necessities. In such a life, work is not work as people generally think of it, but simply doing what needs to be done. . Masanobu Fukuoka . What is important to you right now? It may be the same as what I’m feeling. To feel safe, to feel nourished, and to stay feeling grateful. There’s a should-a voice that has very much NOW taken the back seat in my mind since the current state of the world has taken rise. I’ve had the desire to take my work to an online platform for a number of years now. While I’m super proud to see so many of my peers step up and take their teachings online at the moment, I on the other hand have taken this time to meet and listen to the resistance that has stalled this process occurring in my life. . I’ve come to notice that I’ve felt an urgency to execute this undertaking as somewhat of a task rather than responsibility. But I’ve come to understand that there isn’t any rush at the moment, there is literally a plethora of yoga available online so no one is essentially going without. If it’s the need for basic necessities like food, what is stopping me from sourcing this out myself? . Blessed to say that I’ve spent the past month nourishing us with fresh foraged food from the wild to sustain us (checkout my foraging page Feast and Forage Finds) I’ve been blessed to spend most of my days investing in my personal practice and connecting with sacred land, ethers and water! Every single day holds a space for ritual and conscious fluid movement and I cannot explain how ALIVE I am feeling immersed in this joy that is life! . However.... my spirit pulls me towards the path of service once again. This Sunday at 9AM AEST I’ll be teaching a FREE intermediate flow and announcing my online offerings that will commence next week! My classes are usually open level, however I have had some requests for a more intermediate offering which I would be delighted to share! . Hope to see you Sunday on both Instagram and Facebook live at 9AM AEST for a juicy intermediate flow, as well as an announcement on all the wonderful details I’ve got in stall for y’all! That’s 6PM Saturday NYC & Toronto, 7AM Sunday Tokyo & 7PM Saturday Santiago Chile! . Blessings and so much love to you all, see you on your mat Yogis See more

13.01.2022 6AM YIN YANG YOGA with Krystal Yamamoto Yoga tomorrow FRIDAY will be all about workshopping our backbend practice Our spines are an incredible combination of strength and flexibility, of Sthira and Sukha, of Yin and Yang! Strong bones and large muscles give us structure and protect sensitive nerves while flexible ligaments and tendons allow the spine to move in all different planes. With regular backbends we can help to protect this wonderful balance by increasing mobility ...while strengthening the supporting muscles around the skeleton. Our body’s natural response to danger is to curl in, protecting our most vulnerable part - our heart, both the physical heart and the energetic heart space. Backbends do the very opposite action opening us up to the world. We are exposing ourselves and that takes courage - but also builds more of it! Overcoming our fears on the mat can give us courage off the mat too. See you on the mat Yogis, Namaste
