I remember the office worker who mentioned he had spent 6 months in the Himalayas not sure what he had been searching for. I remember the lady who had spent 3 years meditating on her own after getting her realisation from someone she met on the street. The father who brought his young children because he wante...d a better life for them. The woman in Byron Bay who had meditated daily for the last year through reading Silence Your Mind and felt relieved to have come to our Class. 23.01.2022 They were those who have been so worn down by trying to exist in what is arguably one of the most spiritually difficult times in history. they have lost all connection with the purest of desires; to know God. Then, as we traveled across the country to teach classes and host programs, I observed the attendees. I saw people completely transformed after 5 minutes of meditation, the radiance in their faces, the questions they asked reflected the depth they had. Just as we bore w...itness to attendees changing before our eyes, we also changed day by day. We became stronger, purer, better versions of ourselves. Answer: I really liked it, I came across it by chance on my whatsapp group, I live close by and thought let me give it a go, it was total bliss. It was a fantastic mix in a capsule. So I really liked how their was a presentation and introduction, it filled in what I didnt know. It was lovely to have the gentlemen speaking and introducing it was a very safe space. Music of Joy just cut it for me, it was beautiful. * Ques...tion: what did you find different about Sahaja Yoga Meditation and other types of meditation? Answer: I reckon, this is really easy and its got specific techniques, its involving our head, heart and hands, I think it helps us focus, really, very nicely and very quickly. * Question: would you recommend this meditation to anyone? 20.01.2022 Effects of Meditation on the Mind - Where meditation is taken as a state of mental silence, it has significantly greater results. Clinical studies have... documented the beneficial effects of Sahaja yoga meditation for patients with epilepsy, essential hypertension, asthma, menopausal symptoms, ADHD, anxiety, and work-related stress. While there is a lot of self-reported evidence which supports the beneficial effects of meditation, the empirical evidence to back it up is surprisingly small for many forms of meditation. As pointed out by Dr. Ramesh Manocha, this is mostly due to inaccurate ideas of meditation as an activity aimed at relaxation which concludes in meditation not differing much from simple rest. However, studies on the effects of Sahaja Yoga meditation on the brain show a pronounced change in brain-wave patterns. Shifting from the beta waves of aroused, conscious thought, to the alpha and theta waves of deep relaxation. Long-term practice of SY meditation has proven to increased grey matter in regions of the brain which are associated with sustained attention, self-control, compassion, and interoceptive perception.
