25.01.2022 I had the huge honour of presenting Jesse with his grey belt belt yesterday during our final kids classes before lockdown. Jesse has worked long and hard for this belt, and the enthusiasm and determination he displayed during yesterday's session was trully inspirational. I have absolutely no doubt that he will come out of lockdown better than ever! Congratulations Jesse and keep up the good work!!!

24.01.2022 As per today's announcement by the Premier all classes will be cancelled from midnight tonight until midnight on Wednesday. Let's just hope this swift action avoids a longer lockdown!

23.01.2022 I had the honour of awarding Sam with his blue belt during last night's class. Sam has worked long and hard for this, but has maintained an incredible attitude both on an off the mat at all times. He is one of our club's gentle giants with surprising flexibility who always looks out for his training partners and is always quick with a smile. Congratulations Sam, keep up the awesome work!

21.01.2022 Today marks exactly 6 months since we shut down the club (excluding a very short period when we were able to run kids classes). When this decision was originally made I never imagined exactly what lay ahead. I therefore wanted to take this opportunity to confirm that we will definitely be reopening as soon as we are able to do so. So many people are struggling during this crazy time and are concerned about what the future holds. Try your best to be kind to yourselves, look a...fter your friends and family and do your best to stay positive. For anyone that is really struggling please know that you are not alone, even if it might feel that way at the moment. Reach out to your loved ones and let them know how you are feeling. Alternatively, feel free to contact me for a chat at any time. I have missed everyone so much, but I know that it is only a matter of time before we are all together again!

19.01.2022 I had the honour of presenting Dave with his blue belt during yesterday's day class. Dave is always up for a challenge and is constantly working hard at every session he attends. As if that isn't enough, he is a total class act and has the flexibility and mobility of a teenager too. Congratulations Dave, keep up the awesome work!!!

18.01.2022 I had the honour of awarding Agastya with his yellow belt at today's kids class. Agastya has consistently trained very hard and is a great example to the other kids at the club. He has developed an awesome triangle and his work ethic is second to none! Congratulations Agastya, keep up the awesome work!!!

13.01.2022 I had the honour of presenting Amirali with his grey belt during our kids classes on Wednesday. Amirali has always given his all to every session and the results speak for themselves. He is rapidly becoming a formidable grappler who loves a challenge. Congratulations Amirali and keep up the good work!

11.01.2022 Please note that we will be running our kids classes tonight before we enter lockdown again. We are not sure how long it will be before we can reopen, but we will definitely survive this! Look after yourselves, your families and your friends and never forget that the darkest hour is just before the dawn!

06.01.2022 Very excited to announce that we will be reopening for adult classes on Monday the 9th of November! Restrictions will apply, so stay tuned for further details. Please note that kids classes will return as soon as we get clearance for indoor contact sports. We can't wait to see you all very soon!!!

05.01.2022 Don't forget we now have yoga classes with the incredible Ali at 12pm on Tuesdays which is free for our members. If you are new, your first session is free and it's only $10 for a casual class!

04.01.2022 I had the honour of awarding Andrew with his brown belt during last night's class. Andrew has developed incredible skills through his ongoing dedication and commitment, and at the age of 50 still moves like someone half his age. He is one of the most helpful people I have ever met, both inside and outside the club and I am so lucky to have him as a student and a friend! Congratulations on this incredible achievement Andrew and keep up the awesome work!!!
