21.01.2022 Hi Pet lovers... we have spots available in our premium vans - travelling from Eungai (near Macksville) all the way down the coast as far as Canberra... the trip leaves on Monday 15th June and arrives in Canberra the same day - then we return inland from Canberra up to Tamworth and then to Brisbane . Please note : your pet will travel in the SAME comfort as our driver - he can see, hear and smell everything that goes on with our passengers- that way any little mishaps can... be tended to immediately for EVERYONES comfort ... so travelling with us is no different then the pet travelling in your own car - except leave the long miles to us !!! The welfare of your precious cargo is first and foremost our main priority! ... With most of our staff being breeders, veterinary nurses and having worked with animals, we truly DO understand how important this is! CURRENT CHANGES FOR SUMMER TRANSPORT * All road transport will now run in the evening or early mornings with more direct routes * All domestic flights will be booked for early morning or evening * Animals lodged on road or air transport showing signs of being distressed or overly hot will NOT be accepted - these bookings will be moved to another day * Pregnant animals will not be transported * All animals will be booked in a crate size above standard requirement to allow for extra airflow. This includes owner supplied crates, purchase and hire crates * Jumpers, toys and blankets are not recommended to be placed in crates * World-Class Hounds encourages the use of frozen water bottles zip tied securely on the front of your pets travel crate. This should be supplied by each person lodging an animal for travel * We understand that the cooler parts of the day may not be convenient times for our clients however, these times of the day are paramount to the safety of your animal * World-Class Hounds reserves the right to refuse travel if these conditions are not met

19.01.2022 A lot of people don't know - we travel as far north as Townsville - so if your a bit worried about your pet flying - have a think about our premium road transport. The vans are climate controlled so your pet travels in the same comfort as our driver.. Our northern run will be heading south from Mackay on Monday 22nd June and arrive in Brisbane Monday evening. We then head back up departing Brisbane Tuesday morning 23rd June and can stop anywhere along the way all the way to Townsville.

The Premier of Victoria, Mr Daniel Andrews has reimposed stage three restrictions on 10 postcodes across Melbourne which will be in lockdown from 11.59pm, Wednesday 1 July 2020. The Premier has requested that for the following two weeks international flights will be diverted from arrival into Melbourne Airport. This will have a direct impact on the importation o...f companion animals arriving on international passenger flights. The current COVID-19 pandemic does not change the existing risks posed by diseases of biosecurity concern to Australia or the need for cats and dogs to meet the import permit conditions in full. This includes the requirement for cats and dogs to arrive directly into Melbourne International Airport, excluding dogs and cats exported from New Zealand, or dogs holding an assistance dog permit. The department may consider re-exporting or euthanising animals that do not fulfill this requirement. The department is working with all animals diverted mid-flight to establish alternative arrangements.
