16.01.2022 Year 11 Parents: General Mathematics The new Senior School Mathematics (Essential, General, Methods and Specialist) is now accessible for all students regardless of school. All students are now taught the same syllabus which includes the same core skills and use the same technology aids. These students will all sit the same external test in 2020. This enables me to offer small group tuition sessions at an affordable price for families regardless of school. Over this holiday... break, I will be offering catch up sessions for students who have moved into the General Mathematics course from Methods and feel they need to catch up on missed work. I will also be running a holiday group for students to improve their algebra and general maths skills such as percentage calculations, fractions, conversions and problems solving techniques which is essential for their success in 2020. Please message me for prices and availability. Be quick as there are limited time and spots available.

02.01.2022 Tip for Primary School and Middle school Parents: Maths Methods is the new equivalent of Maths B. Your child will be expected to complete a tech free and tech active internal and external exam in Year 11 and 12. Therefore basic numeracy skills (quick recall of timetables, long and short division skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions, percentage calculations, squared and cubed numbers and algebra skills) are essential for success in senior maths without a calculator.
