12.01.2022 Our thoughts go out to club legend and life member Bob (Rowdy) Dunstan who's brother John (Hodgy) Dunstan passed away this week. Hodgy played with club during the sixties and won the batting award in 1965/66. Our thoughts go out to the Dunstan family at this sad time.

05.01.2022 Not sure why The Champ hasn’t got around to posting this yet but we’d like to acknowledge our new head coach Shane Flash Gordon after receiving his VSDCA William Tucknott Medal for being the best 3rdXI player in season 2019-20. Flash compiled 437 runs to go with his 11 catches and 10 stumpings (he will tell you that there should have been more stumpings and that leg side stumpings should count as 2) in a brilliant season. Last weekend he filled a gap for us with the gloves ...in our 1stXI practice match and showed he’s still more than capable of playing at that level when required. Circumstances have made this preseason a very difficult one for coaches but Coach Flash has risen above every challenge, put in countless time, effort, online sessions, phone calls, planning sessions and meetings over succulent Chinese meals.
