22.01.2022 Ive been absolutely saddened and distressed by the devastation caused by the ongoing bush fires in our beautiful country. What is so heartbreaking is seeing what is happening to our native animals especially our koalas To help look after our koalas on an ongoing basis, for every purchase this year I will donate 10% of the profits to Port Stephens Koalas. They are a not-for-profit group run by amazing volunteers who go above and beyond to care for sick, injured and orphaned koalas to give them the best opportunity to be returned to the wild. 21.01.2022 Its now been one month since Ive last posted. How the world has changed in such a short period of time. Ive been keeping myself busy at home with lots of projects, (lucky for me that I have a number of essential crafty stashes around the house! ) cooking and getting my veggie patch back in order. Hubby is trying to teach me the guitar, Im lucky that hes very patient and he doesnt pull faces when I get the cords so very wrong Im also a volunteer carer at our local koala hospital. Its really the only time I get out of the house now. Im so grateful I get to spend time caring for these beautiful creatures, it helps to still my mind and how can you not smile when you see a koala

If you are driving to The Olive Tree Market there is FREE Parking at the Newcastle City Council Mall Car Park- 92 King St which is a 5 minute walk to the market. Or there is flat rate parking at the Civic West Car Park, entrance Gibson Street, for $6.50 and HarbourPark Car Park has flat rate $5 which are closer to Civic Park. Better still walk, ride, jump on the tram, or take public transport, and keep our city green!
