24.01.2022 Hi Baysiders, Hope everyone had a great weekend! Unfortunately the PBC at Cleveand High School is unavailable for training this week.... We have been able to secure a training court at Faith Lutheran Junior School so we can still hold sessions. There is only 1 court so we have had to spread training across Mon - Wed. SPAH Building Faith Lutheran Junior School Link Rd, Victoria Point Please see schedule attached for details. This facility does have certain restrictions that will need to be followed. * No spectators. Players, coaches and managers only inside the venue. Drop off/pickup only please * Drop/Off pickup is at the large roller door at back of SPAH building * Players please bring your own ball, towel and drink bottle * All players and coaches must sign in and out venue * Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before training. We appreciate your assistance with these changes for the week and we apologise for the late notice. BAYWHAT??? BAYSIDE!!!!!!!!

It was great seeing all of our teams and players getting back into action last week, and thank you for complying with the restrictions that are currently in place. It is much appreciated!... Unfortunately our Monday training will not be available this week but instead will be held for these teams on Tuesday between 7pm - 8pm. Details are on the schedule below. Also, as per last week, access to the courts is only available to players, coaches and spectators for that relevant session. If you are early please wait outside until your session begins. Numbers again will still be restricted so please plan for 1 spectator per player. Thanks Baysiders! BAY WHAT? BAYSIDE!

Great see to our club growing and we welcome our newest team the U10 Breakers Mixed team coached by Chris Kidd! Good luck in your 1st game Breakers!... In regards to current restrictions and updates please refer to the RedCity post by Peter Pollock that our page shared earlier today. Lastly, to help understand the codes on the game draw please see below examples. JBU10D1 - Junior Boys U10 Division 1 JMU10D2 - Junior Mixed U10 Division 2 JGU12D1 - Junior Girls U12 Division 1 To see more clearly, click/tap on the draw until it shows as a singular photo. 05.01.2022 The QSL practice round ended with wins for both our RedCity Roar men and womens teams. We enjoyed playing at our new QSL home venue, the Paul Bancroft Centre... and many thanks to all of those who helped make it happen . Please keep an eye out for information about tickets to our first home game on Saturday 15th August against the Northside Wizards . Be quick because tickets will not last. Could we all please review our adopted "Code of Conduct" from Basketball Queensland and our "Value" statement from our "Vision Booklet" and share with teams, coaches and managers (see link below)? https://www.redcityroar.com.au/judiciary/ RedCity Roar kids deserve to play games in a competition where they feel valued and safe. A place where they can be immersed in the game without adult expectations and values that can sometimes be projected on to a kids game! Let them play, have fun and fall in love with the game!
