25.01.2022 A camp for those young performers out there! We have a really exciting online camp coming up in the July holidays that children in your congregation would be interested in. Our Performing Arts Camp is for campers in grade 4- year 8 and is from the 8th- 11th July. All SU Victoria volunteers have a current and valid Working with Children’s Check and are ChildSafe trained. ... They are so excited to serve and to innovate, create with and encourage the campers to learn from the Creator of Life! See more
22.01.2022 IGNITE YOUTH AND THE SHED ARE BACK THIS FRIDAY IGNITE 7:30-9:30pm at the Novo Centre. ... Girls to be dropped off via the back of the church into the black box room, and boys to the front in the rec room. We CANNOT WAIT to see your amazing faces again! :) It's gonna be so good. Your parents have received an email with everything you need to know for the night - but please remember - if you don't feel well please don't come. THE SHED We will be returning in person this Friday night (17th July). To celebrate coming back together we are having a campfire night! So find yourselves a good roasting stick and bring a warm jacket for some marshmallow roasting, songs, games and good chats. Friday night 7.30 - 9.30pm sharp BBC Junortoun. Please make sure you are dropped off near the playground behind the church and don’t enter through the buildings. PLEASE BRING - a camp chair and drink bottle. We will be asking everyone some questions to reflect on our time in isolation, so please have a think about how you might answer these before Friday night. 1 - What is something that has impacted you during COVID? 2 - What is something that has made you angry during COVID? Things will look a little different as we do our best to follow the new protocols that have been put in place to keep us as safe and as healthy as possible. There will be a few strict protocols that will need to be adhered to: No mixing with IgniteNo going into the NOVO Centre. It is preferred that you get dropped off at the back of the Church near the playground. No hugging or sharing items.Make sure you are feeling well. If you have cold or flu symptoms then please stay home. All of us leaders have really missed being able to see you guys each week, so we are pumped to be able to finally get together as a group again SEE YOU ALL ON FRIDAY!!!

16.01.2022 Be encouraged this week that God has our hearts in His hands.
16.01.2022 Thanks to the delightful Dole family for sharing with us this week. For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re my true followers. John 13:35 TPT... We really cherish the time we spend with our family; the hours fly by and the days never seem long enough. We feel saddened at the beginning of every week knowing that full days together are over for a little while. During isolation Justin kept work as normal and so we missed him everyday and couldn’t wait to jump on him at the end of the day. Something we really, as a family, grieved in this time was fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our bigger family. Fellowship with others is so necessary in our Christian walk; we eat together, play together, we love hard, we’re vulnerable, we pray together, we pray for each other, we worship together, learn together and laugh together. -video has sound

07.01.2022 Prayer buddies, Prayer mates, Prayer friends, Prayer warriors, We believe prayer works and praying for each other is important. We want to encourage our children to pray for each other. Please ask your child if they would be happy to be connected and committed to being in prayer with another young person from church. ... They will regularly pray for each other and talk to each other about prayer needs. If there is someone your child is particularly connected with please let us know, while we cannot guarantee it, we will try and match up their choices. This will give children responsibility to pray for each other personally while also knowing another child will be praying for them. Some ideas include asking your buddy what they need prayer for, praying at night or during the day as part of regular prayers, praying for your buddy when God prompts you, Zoom chat and pray. I am sure there will be more suggestions from you all when this starts up. Please email [email protected] ASAP so we can get matches out and get out young people praying for each other. This can be for teens, primary aged kids and younger. Thanks and God bless, Dave

04.01.2022 This week we have the great Gravener family sharing with us. We work hard at prioritising intentional family time. We've learnt that it doesn't just happen by chance. Sitting down having dinner together and chatting is a time that's very important and special for our family.... What intentional things/times do you carve out in your family to create this intentional time? #SimpleButPowerful
03.01.2022 Thanks to the great Gerber family for sharing three tips of what they have been doing since isolation to keep their girls connected to God and others. Brilliant ideas. Thanks. 1: Enjoy the Bible by using the Bible app and utilising the text to voice option, there is one particular voice we all enjoy - which is deep and dramatic - makes the Bible very exciting! 2: Now that Church services are online we have been tuning into churches all around the word to enjoy their service...s, especially ones we had visited when we visited Europe /UK 3: We have been in the same homegroup for over 15 years and we have numerous children who have grown up together! We have been meeting weekly via zoom and we always make sure all the kids get to say, 'Hi' and have a chat to each other before our bible study, to ensure they feel included and connected.
