25.01.2022 Spread the word our Mechanics Hall tables food swap is going ahead for the 19th and 20th September Tables will be set up from 10 on Saturday and packed away around 5 on Sunday. I will be bringing my best batches ever of marmalade and?



25.01.2022 Hi folks the food swap is working really well and is fantastic to see. I have been dropping off relish and chutneys and jam and enjoying turning produce that I get into other things. Just a note re all the books being left there. Can people please utilize the pop up library in the park alot of love went into its being created and I for one would like to see it being used and loved. Cheers and stay safe and well

19.01.2022 In the 50s and early 60s our family had a farm on the Midland Hwy at Budgeree. I started school at Budgeree Primary. I remember going into Boolara and even though we left the area when I was very young it still feels like home to me.

19.01.2022 The Boolarra 500 (card game) club starts back up this Monday the 22nd 7-9pm. It is open to everyone, beginners game will be played with rules explained. Sanitiser will be provided, and social isolation protocols followed.... Entry is $4 to keep it going and snacks are there throughout the night. Ps. If there are any other clubs or activities happening in Boolarra, please message us and we will create a post promoting them.

12.01.2022 We have a new defibrillator in our township! It is located at the Boolarra Bowls Club next to the Memorial Park! We thank Ambulance Victoria for providing this hopefully unneeded, but possibly life saving equipment. They are also providing free training on the use of the defibrillator and familiarisation with CPR on Tuesday the 27th of October at 3 and 4pm.... There are only 10 places each. The fantastic news is that the ... Regular 3rd Sunday food swap will return at Railway Park with the new social distancing being utilised... 08.01.2022 Hi All, just dropped off a few kilos of homegrown ripe tasty tomatoes (including some yellow ones), some zucchini and about 5kg of gala and golden delicious app...les. Please take! 2 weeks from now i should have about 20-30 kg of apples (mainly golden delicious) to drop off.
