16.01.2022 This is a photo I took whilst taking some me time whilst away camping with the family and going for a big long walk on Nambucca beach. It was magical. No one around, sun on my face, ocean sounds and smells, stopping every now and then to collect sea shells.....walking meditation. Walking on the beach recharges and restores me like nothing else. So this year I've asked my beautiful neighbour who I walk with most () mornings to see if we can include walking on the beach at least once a week. 16.01.2022 A Legacy Statement is very personal. It is a strong connection with your personal values. It is what you want others to say or think about you? It is how you want others to remember you? It is what you want to leave behind? It should be a way for you to check in on yourself and to hold yourself accountable. Just as a team would use their Legacy to keep each other accountable. The way I use mine is to reflect on it everyday after I've finished a coaching session or facilita...ted a workshop.....did I leave my Legacy behind? But if you start aligning a conversation about behaviour with their reputation in the marketplace, their personal brand or the Legacy they left behind when leaving an organisation their eyes start to focus. Most people care about what others say or think about them. What I help my clients do is to create a statement of intent around the impact they want to have? This statement would ultimately be balanced between being results or taks oriented and people orientation.
