21.01.2022 Thank you so much Josh & Amy from The ripple effects. What a champ, this bloke is bringing joy to the elderly community, creating walkers for those not so good on there feet anymore, alowing with a bit of work to walk down to the waters edge, feeling the water whipping at your toes We are all headed the same direction, bodies changing slowly but surely, but our minds tend to stay the same, likes and dislikes! As a man, we will always try to do things we use to do with ease,... our wives may say "your going to hurt yourself! No hun, im fine!" Before... then hurting yourself.. Long story short, Tony from Beach Walkers in Paradise, is one of the many people ( im sure, there's more of us out there ) putting his imagination to the test, allowing us to prolong our happiness in life. Yes, its a walk on the beach and "just water" the younger generations may say, but its so much more. Bringing so much joy to Tony's mum as she walks off into the distance along the waters edge today... If you have any ideas, don't be afraid to get out there and pursue! Its one of the many few reasons we are here. Share, give, smile, laughter & just BE. This COVID-19 has had many changes, the best bringing some back to there roots. 13.01.2022 Wow, how truly wonderful to meet Alicia Hyland today with her amazing views of how easy it is to change the way people live their lives & how to help give people what they really deserve. You truly are a very special gift to us all, thank you so much. Hospice Movement Progress: I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Tony & Dee the founders of 'Beach Walkers In Paradise' & Tony's mum Elizabeth today. They started all this during covid so Elizabeth could still access the beach... when becoming frail. Dee clearly understands hospice care as she is a kiwi nurse who has been on her own journey with cancer & even spent time in Hopewell Hospice many years ago. Now cancer free. Another coincidence ..... Tony & family are pursuing all of the different wheelchairs, beds & walkers to make the sea & beach accessible to everyone. Watch this space. They are exactly what we needed. Teamwork makes the dream work!

We will be at the beach on Friday the 4/9/20 between 12 noon & 2:30 pm right near the Life Saving Tower number 37, its near the corner of Main Beach Parade & The Esplanade South Narrow Neck. If you feel you would like to give it ago then please message us on 0410 477 791 to confirm a spot. Try it out for 20 minutes, you may even get your feet wet. Please bring a friend.
