06.01.2022 Our latest visitor to South Curly is this Australian Fur Seal, he's uninjured and having a great time fishing and sun baking. We know it's exciting to see a seal but please do not try to get close. We have set up a 40 metre perimeter around him and will have crowd control to move people along. This is a big seal and they can become aggressive if they feel threatened!

02.01.2022 We have had to reimagine the festive season this year due to the ongoing risk of COVID-19 and restrictions on public gatherings. We’ve had to make the tough decision that we won’t be hosting New Years Eve fireworks or Christmas Carol events but will instead put the funds towards smaller initiatives in our town centres and outdoor spaces such as public and street art, localised performers and carollers, lighting displays and Christmas decorations.
