24.01.2022 We need your help!! October long weekend we have some shifts up for grabs at the Rivoli Bay Deli We need two people per shift to help out in the Deli. Saturday 3rd October 9am to 11am & 11am to 1pm.... Sunday 4th October 10am to 11:30am & 11:30am to 1pm Monday 5th October 9am to 11am. The position will require 2 people per shift to direct patrons to use hand sanitiser and estimate numbers in store from main entrance door as well as estimate numbers at exit door and call pick up orders ie coffee at the window Rivoli Bay Deli has kindly offered to donate all the bread for the nippers season 20/21. 21.01.2022 Join our team ... we are searching for a Nippper Coordinator...if you are interested or know someone who would be great in this role contact [email protected] . Our Nipper Coordinator role is an integral part of the Beachport Surf Lifesaving Committee. The role oversees the establishment, co-ordination and reporting of the operational aspects of the Nippers Program for the Beachport Surf Lifesaving Club.

21.01.2022 If any of our Youth are interested in completing a CERT III through Surf Life Saving as part of Year 12 studies (this counts as a whole subject), there is a pool lifeguard course happening in the South East this coming weekend. Minimum age recommended is 16 years. And you don’t even have to wait til Year 12 to complete this. Contact Julie if you want to know more about completing a CERT III.

18.01.2022 More assessments in Beachport today. Big thank you to Andrew Henry for coming down from Adelaide to assess all of our members. A total of 32 members signed off; 23 Surf Rescue Certificates and 7 Bronze Medallion awards as well as Advanced Resuscitation and Bronze updates for a couple of our trainers. Congrats everyone!

16.01.2022 Our club has been awarded $5000 through the Federal Government Volunteer Grant Program. This, along with a $2000 grant through the Wattle Range Council, will go into making our 40ft container at the surf beach a reality.

15.01.2022 HOT OFF THE PRESS: A new award has been introduced to Surf Life Saving SA tonight and will enable parents to be able to assist our younger participants in waist depth water without the requirements of completing the current water awards. With our membership base continually growing, this will be a great opportunity for our club to be able to offer more water time to all of our Nippers this coming season if we can get more water cover. The training at this stage would need to be completed by Sunday 6th December so we are asking if all interested members can contact either Meagan (Nippers Co-ordinator) on 0429357711 or Julie (Trainer) on 0438358400 ASAP. 11.01.2022 While in the South East recently I stopped by the Beachport Surf Life Saving Club to talk about plans for an extended clubhouse. The Lifesaving Club recently r...eceived a volunteer grant of $5,000 from the Federal Government which will allow the club to purchase a third shipping container to act as a first aid room, meeting room, and general purpose room for volunteers. Volunteer grants are a fantastic way to say thank you to volunteers such as those at the Beachport Surf Life Saving Club. See more
